COME AND TRY FAMILY ADVENTURES - MOUNTAIN BIKING

Crafted for families with basic experience in cycling, our Come and Try Mountain Biking (MTB) Course is an opportunity to reconnect with the outdoors as a family, challenge comfort zones and learn new skills.

This activity is suitable for families with: children aged 10 years and up, basic cycling skills, moderate levels of fitness and a willingness to work together as a team. Your instructor will scale the level of challenge to best suit your family’s combined riding level.

After an on-site orientation to your bikes and some skill instruction, your instructor will determine the appropriate trails to be enjoyed for the day. During the day you will have the opportunity to practice your techniques with some fun activities and discover the wonder of the trails.

As well as an introduction to mountain bike riding and exploring the trails, you will share a delicious lunch complete with billy tea and freshly made damper.

Benefits

BENEFITS

The turbulence and unease of 2020 drew us indoors and disconnected us from each other and the natural world. After unprecedented bushfires and the impact of COVID19, we know reconnecting with each other, and the outdoors is now more vital than ever.

The Outdoor Education Group understand immersion in the outdoors is a brilliant way to improve mental health, physical wellness and build strong relationships with others. We have focused on making an experience which is fun, carefree and an affordable way to get out of the house with your family, create new memories and share a new activity together.
